Installation and on-site training will be provided to you and your staff starting approximately 3 months before the first election at no additional cost. We do not specify a number of days needed for training. The amount of training required varies from account to account. Instead, we provide as much training as you believe you need to run perfect and accurate elections. We do provide on-site personnel for your first two elections at no additional charge. We firmly believe that the success of UniLect™ directly parallels the success and accuracy of your elections.


Standard Covered Services include the following:

• Complete training of your in-office election staff including instruction on "how to code and tally" all aspects of the election (in-precinct votes as well as various types of absentees) with our IntEllect™ EMS software package.
  
  
• In-person class training of each pollworker for two elections is conducted by UniLect™ at no additional charge. We recommend this to occur shortly before each election, with plenty of "hands-on" equipment.
  
  
• UniLect™ will also train on-site, all of the following necessary groups. Some will, of course, overlap in duties.
  
  
  • Warehouse personnel
    
  • Delivery personnel
    
  • Repair personnel
    
  • Election Day "trouble-call" operators
    
  • Election Day remote technicians
    
    
    
• To the extent possible, we will aid in voter training prior to the election. We have considerable expertise in this area.
  
  
• On-Site election coverage will be available for the first two elections. Other elections may also be covered at additional charge.
  
  
• The "Quick Support Program" allows you to contact our office through our 888 toll-free number service whenever you have a problem or question. It's like having a serviceman/repairman on your desk at all times. Close to each election, we are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  
  
• Our on-going software support and maintenance fee package is available at no cost for the first year. This includes all software maintenance, software upgrades, State mandated software changes and our "Quick-Support Program". Maintenance increases will be limited to Consumer Price Index increases.
  
  
• One-year manufacturer's warranty on all equipment (parts and labor).
  
  

UniLect™ warrants the products, as delivered, will conform with and perform according to the specifications required by the Federal Election Commission and your state as well as conform with and perform according to the specifications in any contract arising therefrom.

The UniLect PATRIOT has a life expectancy of 25 years. One strong note; . . . the PATRIOT Voting System™ is almost 100% software and UniLect™ will upgrade your county's software as needed. Thus, in 5 years, your county will have a current year system, not a 5 year old system.
